This ministry team believes that first impressions make a huge impact. Like New Horizon the Connections team believes “people matter to God”.
Follow-Up Planner - Initiates follow up processes for all newcomers and special requests from Connection Cards. Information is entered into a database then emailed to all staff and Connections Team members.
Follow-Up Caller - Calls newcomers from the Sundays connection cards and sends an email to the Guest Services coordinator with information obtained in the phone call as well as requests for additional information.

Hospitality
This ministry team strives to serve and welcome others by showing Christ’s love in a practical way. Various opportunities exist such as providing coffee and goodies on Sunday morning, helping with Wednesday night and First Tuesday dinner, and providing cookies at Christmas time.

Parking
The Parking Team provides the first impression people get of New Horizon. We welcome arriving worshipers as they drive in and help them find convenient parking spaces and ensure safe exit from the parking lot.

Usher/Greeter
The purpose of the Usher/Greeter Team is to make everyone who walks in the doors at New Horizon for Sunday Worship Experiences and special events feel welcome and help them find where they need to go. We do this by opening doors, providing directions, passing out programs, and other roles as needed.

Setup/Takedown Team
This team takes care of setting up and taking down the chairs in between Worship Experiences and after the third service on Sunday mornings.

Welcome Center
Volunteers offer hospitality at the Welcome Center by giving gifts to visitors, answering questions, providing CDs of messages available for purchase and sorting Connection Cards for future use by office staff and volunteers.
