What is TO4M all about?  

TO4M meets from 8:45-11:00 am Friday mornings.  We start with some large group worship time and updates accompanied by delicious home cooked food.  We then split into small groups for a close-knit book study, more fellowship, and prayer time.  You will reenergize through relating with other moms and growing spiritually together.  TO4M was created to provide a safe place where moms can be supported and uplifted through study, prayer, and open discussion. 

 

Time Out for Mom meets various Fridays from August through May at New Horizon UMC.  While the moms meet in group time, the children are divided into rooms by age in our Christian Education wing.  There is a small semester fee that helps to cover the following:  book costs, a portion of the childcare expenses, snacks for the kids, coffee and paper goods, and other miscellaneous materials.  Outside of church, we contribute to our community through a service outreach project each semester, and get together at least once a month and throughout the summer months for group play dates, moms’ nights out, or other socials like movie night or a shopping trip to Chicago.

 

 

What do my kids do when I am in TO4M?  Your kids (ages 0-5) will be looked after by qualified and screened childcare providers.  They will be doing age appropriate activities including a simple Bible lesson, playtime, and even have a snack.  We welcome moms in all stages of motherhood to join us.  We do however only provide childcare for children 5 and under, except on school out days.

 

When does TO4M meet?  We will be meeting this Fall on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Friday mornings in general.  Here are our dates for Fall 2008:

  • December 12th

How much does it cost?

Registration Fee:  Mom Only                  $10

Registration Fee:  Mom & 1 child           $40

Registration Fee:  Mom & 2 children      $70

Registration Fee:  Mom & 3 children      $85

All fees go up $10 after August 15th (except for new moms)
