The Outreach Team helps people locally, nationally and internationally who are experiencing challenges in their lives through resources and/or prayer.
The Missions Possible Team helps people envision living a serving life and connects people to service opportunities. The Missions Possible Team is the central coordination for mission trips and local outreach projects and seek new opportunities to provide support for local and national ministries, missionaries and seminary students. The Card Ministry makes cards for the Staff and Prayer Team to use as notes of encouragement, thanks and celebration throughout the year. Contact Dianne Smith for more information.
The New Horizon Food Pantry provides an opportunity to give to our community in a tangible way through a delivery of a week's worth of food to those in need. Food donations of canned soup, vegetables, fruit and meat, boxed macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, applesauce, 100% juice, tuna/hamburger helper and Bibles are accepted at the New Horizon building. Garden Hills School was "adopted" by New Horizon in 2002. Volunteers have opportunities to assist in classrooms become mentors and help provide supplies. Individuals or small groups can adopt a classroom and/or provide treats for special occasions. Contact Janet Roadcap for more information.

An important part of our prayer ministry is New Horizon's Prayer Net. This ministry is comprised of Christians linked via email to approach God with specific prayer requests. These prayers are given in an attitude of expectation and of confidence for God's power to be released through the Holy Spirit. For more information click here.
Jesus is the Way Prison Ministry Small Group meets Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30PM at Jesus is the Way Prison Ministry Center Lobby in Rantoul. This small group ranges from 3-8 people depending on the week under the small group leadership of Mike Mueller and Dave Waters. For more information click here.
This ministry reaches out to the homeless men who reside at the TIMES Center in Champaign. Currently there is a Tuesday night Bible study and rides are offered to Sunday morning services at New Horizon. For more information click here.
