Re: Men’s Outreach to Mardi Gras in New Orleans
Dear Brothers in Christ,
Nothing has marked my life like my annual trip to New Orleans to share Christ with the crowds at Mardi Gras. It’s been an annual event for me since 1986. I’m convinced I am the Christian man, husband, father, and pastor I have become largely as a result of these trips.
We’ll be working with No Greater Love Ministries from Southern Illinois. We’ll meet up with over 250 men from all over the Midwest. We’ll be trained and led by men who, like myself, have come to know Jesus in a profound way as we share our faith on the streets at Mardi Gras.
Learning to present Christ to others in meaningful ways has revolutionized the way I worship, study, pray and live. In fact, my understanding of the Christian faith has been dramatically shaped working shoulder-to-shoulder with Jesus in offering Christ to others. It’s amazing—He can even use me.
We’ll travel together, fellowship together, worship together, and learn and grow together. Our experience will be like the hundreds and hundreds who have worked with No Greater Love Ministries before—we may never be the same again.
