Adventureland Snack-a-teer:

The way to a kid’s heart (and most adults) is through their stomach.  In Adventureland we serve a small snack to the kids each Sunday.  The snack time is their time to sit with their friends and build community.  The person who serves as a Snack-a-teer, fills small cups with a snack and serves water.  Approximate time commitment: 30 minutes, ideally before the 8:30 service or during it.  Supplies are provided.  Serve 1, 2, or 3 Sundays a month.  For more information contact: Jennifer Metenyi at 359-8909 or Jennifer@newhorizonchurch.org. 

Adventureland Greeter:

Our greeters help families who are new to New Horizon and families who attend on a regular basis check their kids into Adventureland.  A hospitable and friendly demeanor and basic computer skills are needed.  Greeters are asked to serve from 15 minutes before a service begins through its entirety helping with hallway supervision, small administrative tasks and delivering snacks to the classrooms.   Current openings for Greeters are at the 8:30 and 11:10 services, 2 Sundays a month.   For more information contact: Jennifer Metenyi at 359-8909 or Jennifer@newhorizonchurch.org.

Axis Snack Shack

Each week during our Wednesday Axis Student night we serve a meal to the students and volunteers who attend. If you are interested in providing/cooking a meal for approximately fifty people once a month or if you are interested in helping serve a meal once or twice a month please contact Dave Plemons (Dave Plemons) or 217.359.8909 for more information.
